Vent-Axia Econiq MVHR — whole-house system

A complete heat-recovery ventilation system installed in the attic, with insulated ducting feeding every habitable room. The unit was commissioned and balanced before handover, so the family gets constant fresh filtered air with minimal heat loss.

  • Vent-Axia Econiq MVHR
  • Insulated attic ducting
  • Commissioned & balanced

Radial ducting first fix — new build

Full semi-rigid radial ducting first-fixed through the timber structure before ceilings closed up. Supply and extract manifolds were hung and labelled, with every run pressure-tested so nothing is buried untested.

  • Semi-rigid radial ducting
  • First fix in timber structure
  • Pressure-tested runs

MVHR

MVHR during construction — rigid ductwork

The unit was fitted and protected mid-build, connected to large insulated rigid ducts feeding the upstairs rooms. Wrapping the unit during construction keeps dust and plaster out of the heat exchanger until the home is ready to breathe.

  • Insulated rigid ductwork
  • Upstairs supply runs
  • Unit protected during build

Demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) — retrofit extract

Demand-controlled extract units installed in the loft and between roof trusses — a low-maintenance way to keep humidity under control in homes where full ducted MVHR isn't practical.

  • S&P DCV unit
  • Fitted between trusses
  • Ideal for retrofit
